HOW DO THEY WORK?
As we age, our muscles and skin gradually lose elasticity. The regeneration of collagen and elastin slows down, skin is less able to renew itself and underlying muscles become less able to fully relax after contraction. The result is a semi-permanent setting of fine lines including; smile lines, frown lines and wrinkles. Combined with various other biological and environmental factors, this can age the skin prematurely.
Our treatments help facial muscles to relax, allowing lines in your skin to appear smoother or even disappear completely.

HOW IS IT DIFFERENT FROM A FACELIFT?
Our treatments that address wrinkles are more subtle and affordable than a surgical facelift. It does not involve the risks or lengthy recovery time of an invasive surgery. As the treatment is not a permanent procedure, its effects diminish over time, based on individual metabolisms.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?
Depending on your treatment, it may take as little as 15 minutes. During consultation we will discuss options for areas of concern, any medication or medical conditions that preclude your treatment, environmental and genetic factors that may contribute to wrinkles and your budget.
IS THIS TREATMENT SUITABLE FOR EVERYONE?
Some wrinkles are more suited to different procedures, for example, where lines are deep set, treatments to address volume or a combination of therapies may be more appropriate.
WILL I LOOK STIFF OR PLASTIC?

CONTRAINDICATIONS
Treatments for reducing the appearance of wrinkles are not suitable if any of the following (among others) apply to you:
- Pregnancy
- Planning conception within 3months
- Breastfeeding
- Certain muscle or nerve disorders.
POST TREATMENT CARE
General advice is not to lie flat and no rubbing of the area for 4 hours after treatment.
RISKS
As with any Treatments for reducing the appearance of wrinkles, there is a small risk of short-term redness, tenderness or bruising.Rare risks include temporary headache, nausea, flu-like syndrome, heavy brow or drooping eyelid which may last from days to weeks but always resolves. Potential side effects in treating the lower face are reduced ability to pucker the lips, drooling, changes in smile, or movement of the upper or lower lip. These potential side effects always resolve. (This may not be a complete list of side effects. If inflammatory reactions persist for more than one week, or if any other side effects develop, seek medical attention as soon as possible.)
