WHAT IS PLATELET RICH PLASMA?

Also known as a “Vampire Facial” or “Blood Facial”, Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy is used to improve skin tone, texture and elasticity. Typically treated around the eyes, for crepey skin on the neck, cheeks, mid face and back of hands. It can also rejuvenate the décolletage, knees, thighs, arms and stomach and encourages the repair of wounds and burns.

HOW PLATELET RICH PLASMA WORKS

PRP therapy involves extracting a small blood sample from your body (usually inner elbow) and spinning it in a centrifuge to separate plasma from your red cells. PRP combined with calcium chloride is then injected back into the treatment area via a needle or the Dermapen. This initiates an accelerated healing process whereby the body starts to regenerate collagen in the treated area, improving your skin quality.

BENEFITS OF PLATELET RICH PLASMA

PRP therapy acts as both a natural dermal filler and softener improving the texture and appearance of your skin. As the skin rejuvenates, your natural beauty is revealed, enhanced and empowered.

HOW IS THIS DIFFERENT FROM OTHER THERAPIES?

PRP extracts your plasma and enhances it with essential vitamins and minerals for repairing skin function. By replacing your natural growth hormones in the body, we are able to create an environment in which the vitamins and minerals can adapt naturally.
